Mindfulness Based Approaches Course for Teens

I am delighted to announce that I will be running a 6 week course for teenagers beginning Saturday 5th March.

Put simply the aim of this program is to be more aware, more often. Through this awareness we can transform our experiences. We begin to practice stepping out of the habitual doing mode by paying attention, intentionally, mindfully, to sensations of the body and to aspects of everyday experiences. This then supports overall wellbeing, stress management and builds emotional resilience.

Home practice will form an important part of the teaching and will involve a 10 minute practice and a worksheet to guide around the weekly topics. These will be emailed to you after the session.

Before embarking on the course you will need to fill in a short health questionnaire to ensure this is a good time for you to be taking part, this will need to be co-signed by a parent/guardian.
